Exray's slips through the genre cracks and past the time bandits to deliver an eclectic new voice. Jon Bernson and Michael Falsetto-Mapp specialize in lo-fi electronic pop made out of rugged beats, short circuited melodies and voice mail vocals. The band's debut single was released on Secret Seven's 'In a Cloud' compilation, which features many of San Francisco's finest, including The Fresh & Onlys, Thee Oh Sees, Sonny and the Sunsets, Kelley Stoltz and The Sandwitches.

The duo released their debut EP 'Ammunition Teeth' in October of 2010, the same month David Fincher's blockbuster 'The Social Network' featured Exray's song 'Hesitation' alongside an Academy Award winning score by Trent Reznor. Since that time, Exray's has performed with an eclectic list of pop innovators: Toro Y Moi, tUnE-yArDs, The Soft Moon, Nite Jewel, Cloud Nothings, Thao Nguyen, Adventure, Maus Haus, Tim Cohen, The Sandwitches, John Vanderslice and Pictureplane.
In February 2011 the band released their first self-titled LP and a series of five videos, which further established their affinity for technological wreckage and the undusted future. 2012 will see the release of a new 7" on May 1 and Exray's third album on June 15th.
